Sales Terms and Conditions

2000 Networks is an Authorized DirecTV Dealer. Our sales terms and conditions are clearly stated on one of two pages linked below. Select one or both of these links and read our terms carefully. You must agree to all the Sales Terms below before ordering:

Shipping

  • All larger items are usually shipped UPS ground - systems, receivers, dishes, etc.
  • Smaller items are usually shipped via USPS - remotes, switches, cables, etc.

Tracking

  • Most distributors have several warehouses so most orders will reach you within 2-3 business days
  • UPS and USPS tracking is available when requested.
  • We must obtain tracking numbers from our distributors so there may be a short delay in returning it to you
  • Request tracking via email providing your name and order number

Foreign Orders

  • We do not sell or ship to foreign countries.
  • We do not accept credit cards with billing addresses outside the 48 US contiguous states.

SPECIALS Orders

  • Products listed and sold from this page are covered here
  • There are no activation requirements for SPECIALS receivers.
  • Units can be used in Commercial applications without penalty.
  • Units can be used in RV/Camper applications without penalty.
  • Units can be used in Yacht/Boat applications without penalty.
  • Units are sold AS-IS and without any warranty implied.
  • DOA (Defective On Arrival) SPECIALS will be replaced and not refunded.
  • DOA (Defective On Arrival) SPECIALS must be shipped within 5 days after receipt.
  • DOA (Defective On Arrival) SPECIALS must be shipped with a TRACKING number.
  • Our 30/31 day return policy does not apply to SPECIALS.
  • NO RETURNS
  • NO REFUNDS

Returns

  • Returns require an RA# be clearly printed on the box top
  • Email for an RA# "Return Authorization Number" and return instructions.
  • Do not refuse any shipment. Returned orders ship to a different address.
    Accept the shipment and then email for an RA# and return instructions.
  • All returns must be insured for retail cost, shipping cost and activation liability cost.
  • All returns must be in original "as new" condition and packaging.
    "as new" meaning not "used".
  • You must contact the manufacturer for items requiring warranty work before returning them. You can find the warranty or customer service phone number in the product user guide that came with it.
  • No returns on Satellite Radios that have been activated.
  • No returns on Specials, open box or used products.
  • No returns on RV or Camping products.
  • No returns beyond 31 days from the date of your purchase.
  • Unauthorized returns will be returned to the customer at their cost.

Refunds

  • Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card only. No exceptions.
  • Receiver refunds are normally delayed by testing. They have to be shipped to the distributor, tested and returned for resale before we can apply your refund.
    Accessory items normally take only a few days to refund.
  • You do not have to activate your receiver to check signal strength, picture,
    sound and other hardware functions. Check it out before you activate it!
  • No refunds on Satellite Radios that have been activated.
  • No refunds on Specials, open box or used products.
  • No refunds on RV or Camping products.
  • No refunds beyond 31 days from the date of your purchase.

Possible Refund Deductions

  • Our cost of shipping is not refundable
  • Extended warranties are not refundable
  • Items requiring warranty work are not refundable
  • Our cost of repairs or replacement of damaged returns
  • Missing RA#: 20% of sales price
  • Missing original box: $20.00
  • Missing original inside packaging: $20.00
  • Missing access card: $300.00
  • Cleaning an activated access card: $40.00
  • Missing remote controls: $30.00 to $90.00
  • Missing manuals or instructions: $10.00
  • Cancellation Fee: 10% of total sales price

Cancellation Fees

  • Any order cancelled will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee to cover credit card processing and administration costs.

Credit Cards

  • Name on credit card must match name on the order's billing section.
  • Address on credit card must match the billing address EXACTLY.
  • We do not accept any credit cards from outside the 48 US states.
  • We will report any attempt at credit card fraud to the authorities.

Credit Card Disputes

  • We have had an unusually large amount of frivolous credit card charge disputes by customers who can't seem to remember that they bought a DirecTV receiver or an accessory item or have failed to activate their receiver as agreed and have been charged the non-activation fee. Unfortunately, even though we "win" all of these frivolous disputes, the time it takes to process all the forms, emails and faxes to do so costs 2000 Networks over $100.00 per dispute.
  • That said, we will now be charging customers who file a credit card charge dispute with their credit card company and "lose" the dispute a $50.00 service charge to assist us in recovering these unwarranted expenses.
  • We will no longer bear the cost of a customers lack of attention to his or her own finances.
  • If you are not certain about a charge on your credit card statement check your email for online order information and/or call the phone number on the statement associated with the charge. These are basic statement balancing practices folks!
  • You authorize this service charge by placing any order with 2000 Networks.
  • There will be no exceptions.

  • Promotions may not be available to residents of an NRTC territory.
  • Prices change daily. Do not ask for a lower price before or after you order!
  • All sales "bill to" and "ship to" US 48 states only. No exceptions.
    ie: Absolutely no International sales. No AK or HI sales. No exceptions.
  • All orders are shipped based on availability. Manufacturers supply changes daily.
  • All Sales Terms and Conditions are effective as of March 1, 1999
  • All products, specifications, programming and prices are subject to change.
  • We reserve the right to accept, refuse or cancel any order placed with us.

Legal Signature Agreement

  • By placing an online order with 2000 Networks, you understand and agree that this contract is digitally signed and as such, you are waiving your right to a physical signature and agreeing that this order form is enforceable without your physical signature.
  • If you do not agree 100% with the statement above please do not order from 2000 Networks.

You must agree to all the Terms above before ordering.
