DirecTV RJ-22 to DB9 Adapter

If you are attempting to install a DirecTV D10-100, RCA DRD420RE, DRD440RE, DRD480RE or DRD435RH with an in-motion dish/antenna like the KVH TracVision model, you may well need this adapter. The older model in-motion dishes/antennas had DB9 connections and today's new DirecTV receivers will not work with them! An older model receiver like the units mentioned above along with our RJ22 to DB9 adapter may well do the trick. Contact your dish/antenna manufacturer to determine which receiver/adapter/dish combination is best for you.

NOTES - An RJ-22 connection looks like and is often mistaken for an everyday RJ-11 telephone connection. An RJ22 connection may also be labeled LOW SPEED DATA PORT, SLOW SPEED DATA PORT or even HOME CONTROL PORT. A DB9 connection is often referred to by those names above or as a 9-PIN or SERIAL CONNECTION.
