DirecTV RC24 IR/RF Remote Control Kit

The DirecTV RC24 remote control kit includes (1) RC24 remote control and (1) DirecTV RF remote control antenna and is the exact replacement remote for the DirecTV H20 and H10 HD receivers. The RC24 is both IR (Inferred) and RF (Radio Frequency) capable. If you own an H20 H10 or R15 DirecTV Receiver you need this remote. The RC24 remote control can also claim a large inventory of programmable codes for your TV, DVD player and other electronic components.

Programming the RF feature for the H20 Receiver

  • RESTORE FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS FOR THE RC24 FIRST
  • Instructions are on Page 25 of the H20 manual
  • On Screen - Go to Menu/Setup/Remote and choose RF
  • On Remote - Hit mute/select until you get two blinks at top
  • Enter 961 and hit the UpChannel key
  • If you are still viewing the Setup screen hit Select key for Done
