DIRECTV HAS MADE RECENT CHANGES IN THEIR DISH REQUIREMENTS - Over the past few months DirecTV has made several changes to their dish requirements and they have released several new dish models. We are going to explain the changes and who should purchase which dish.

Please answer these two questions:

1. Do I need a dish that can receive five satellites? Or three?

The 5 sat dish can receive DirecTV 99 101 103 110 and 119 Satellites
The 3 sat dish can receive DirecTV 99 101 and 103 Satellites

2. Do I need a dish with SWM Technology?
If you have older receivers you plan to continue using the answer is no.
If all of your receivers are listed on the next line the answer is yes.
